easy walk

Walked 26 minutes, 1.06 miles

The program called for an easy 20 min walk, so that is what I did. I try to warm up and cool down slowly, so I added six minutes to my walk. Diet was ok today. I had a smoothie for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and suppers red beans and rice, with some beets and cottage cheese.

Today was my first day to walk for exercise. Last week I walked a bunch, so it was a good start for the year. I am not going to weigh every day, but only on Sunday or Monday, whichever my travel schedule allows. My goal is to lose 3 pounds a week for 3 months. If I really get in to it, I should be able to average 5 lbs a week. But I will be happy with 3 a week, that would allow me to lose 36 lbs in 3 months.

yesterday was a travel day, and i forgot to weigh in. I did eat over a dozen cookies that a friend had prepared for me. Today I woke up in sunny florida, and the temp was in the low 30s. No walk today, although I wii walk a lot without trying.

New Year-Same Goals

Here I am agian, starting another weight loss plan. Not really very into it. I have dieted pretty well today, and managed to walk a little. So I guess anything is possible.
