Walked 94 min, 4.55 miles

I walked a good distance today. I didn't walk it non too, I sat on benches to rest a couple of timed. But it was a long walk, and I felt pretty good after it.

4 week weigh in-13 lbs lost

Todays weigh in was horrible. I gained 1 lb last week, and have only lost 13 for the year. This past week l only walked Tue and wed, and ate like a pig. Today I am traveling to Chicago, to catch a flight to the west coast, getting back sat evening. Maybe the week in LA area will get me back in the mood.

3 week weigh in

tuesday: walked 35 min, 1.59 miles

I was really disappointed in mondays weigh in. I lost 3.4 lbs for the week,and have lost 14 lbs in 3 weeks. I really had hoped to maintain my 5lb/week average for 2 months. Hopefully I can make up for it this week.

I have been negligent in my blogging duties. I had a good week diet wise, and I followed the plan on my walking. Today's 4 mile walk really strained me. I am looking forward to a lighter week this week. Tomorrow should be another good weigh in.

I had my first 3 mile walk of the year, on the treadmill while watchin the packers/giants game. It went okay, legs felt good. My lower back hurt a little. Hopefully my feet will feel okay tomorrow. Next weekend I am supposed to bump up to a 4 mile walk.

easy walk

Walked 26 minutes, 1.06 miles

The program called for an easy 20 min walk, so that is what I did. I try to warm up and cool down slowly, so I added six minutes to my walk. Diet was ok today. I had a smoothie for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and suppers red beans and rice, with some beets and cottage cheese.

Today was my first day to walk for exercise. Last week I walked a bunch, so it was a good start for the year. I am not going to weigh every day, but only on Sunday or Monday, whichever my travel schedule allows. My goal is to lose 3 pounds a week for 3 months. If I really get in to it, I should be able to average 5 lbs a week. But I will be happy with 3 a week, that would allow me to lose 36 lbs in 3 months.

yesterday was a travel day, and i forgot to weigh in. I did eat over a dozen cookies that a friend had prepared for me. Today I woke up in sunny florida, and the temp was in the low 30s. No walk today, although I wii walk a lot without trying.

New Year-Same Goals

Here I am agian, starting another weight loss plan. Not really very into it. I have dieted pretty well today, and managed to walk a little. So I guess anything is possible.
